MOESHA

MOesha ON 5 NIGHTS A WEEK!

Of course none of us can forget Ray J's role as Charles on MOesha (if u have, shame on u)! But now, Ray J is very well known as Dorian, Moesha's cousin/brother. He has been the focus of the shows this past season. (Seems there should have been a spin-off...but hey, thats just my opinion.)

We all remember his first show, when he'd run away from home to the Mitchell's. Since he's a handful for his mother, Frank and Dee decide to help get him under control. And of course, as time goes by, Dorian struggles with everything from fitting into the Mitchell's household, to having sex with girl not yet ready to have that experience. But, all of Dorian's "hard work?" is side tracked when he discovers that Uncle Frank is really no uncle at all. Frank Mitchell, the loving father, goes from uncle to daddy...What's up with that? Ok Ok, now D-money resents Frank for being a bad father, instead of the good uncle he'd believed him to be in the past. Dorain of course rebels and begins working for Patience (Master P), who is not exactly the best influence. Hangin' with Patience is definitely not a good thing. D-Money ends up covering for Patience when he steals from Mo's dorm. (As you might have guessed, Mo and her nose have a bad feeling about everything.) Then, Dorain even steals one of Frank's Saturns, to deliever $5,000 for Patience. On his way to deliver the money, D-Money is stopped by the police for speeding. (Always gotta stop a brotha in L.A. hehe) After Frank convinces the police that the car was given to D-Money, Frank blows up at Dorian. Even through his anger, however, Frank agrees to pay the $5,000 to Patience for Dorian. Dorian is convinced that he will always get his way with Frank...But he is wrong, when Frank arranges for Dorian to go to boot camp. Dorain storms out heatedly, leaving us to wonder what will happen next. But as we all know, we have to wait until NEXT SEASON...

Ok, new season is here, and Dorian has apparently made a change for the better. However, he is acting "soft" according to Nice. But anyway, Frank basically ruins D-Money's new attitude when he suggests that he sign a contract stating that if he doesn't act right, he will have to leave. And how should that make Dorian feel? Well, from the looks of things he isn't too happy about it. We see him calling up Nice to return to his old ways. Will things change, or remain the same?

Well on the next Moesha Dorian, despite his feelings towards Frank's contract, attempts to regain his father's trust. However, D-Money ends up guilty by association as he falls into "Bad Company" with an intern at his father's dealership. Following this issue, Frank and Dorian take a trip to Vegas attempting to resolve their issues. Frank thinks Dorian wants to go on the trip to bond while Dorian is really trying to make it to a fight. Ultimately the two end up working out some of their problems and even deciding to attend the fight together. The next episode is a Halloween episode in which Dorian dogsits for a friend. The dog, Frisky, has been train to turn into a fierce guard dog by the mention of the word "Murda". He will only calm when another command is said. However, Dorian forgets this command and the dog terrifies them through most of the show. That is until he meets his match in the "Nutty Nun" better known as Moesha. Moesha actually wrestles with the dog (which is hilarious), since she is hyper off of vitamins she has taken to help her study. By the end of the show as Mo and Niecy (who took the vitamins as well and is growing hair everywhere as a side effect)..as they attempt to get a drug that will reverse all of these weird side effects. The professior from whom they seek help is none other than Sinbad. The two play on the fact that Dorian looks familiar to the professor (hence...the Sinbad Show). However, the professor never relaizes the connection thinking maybe Dorian is one of the Backstreet Boys. D-Money simply responds to the comment as "Naw...not me...".

Ray asks Moesha to finish the paper for him because he's too busy with practice and studying plays. Moesha agrees to write it, since they're friends. Dorian sees Moesha's writing Ray's paper and teases her, claiming that he uses the same game with girls at his school. Moesha reconsiders writing the paper and tells Ray that she can not do his paper for him. Upset, Ray tells her that he's not interested in a friendship with her if he can't benefit from it.

Moesha tries to apologize, but Frank's too angry to discuss the matter. Later, Andell comes by to find Frank alone. When he tells her about the pills, Andell relates his experience to one she had with her father. She questions whom Frank is trying to protect--Moesha or himself. Aunt Hattie surprisingly stops by that evening. After not seeing the family for years, she mistakes Dorian for Myles. Moesha clears up the mistaken identity. Aunt Hattie then congratulates Frank on finally bringing his son home. Her faux pas sends shock waves through the room since Frank has kept a lid on his secret all of Dorian's life. Frank has no choice but to explain that he and Marguerite were having some problems. He had an affair that resulted in Dorian's birth. His sister, Sandy, agreed to adopt Dorian. She and Frank would tell him the truth when he turned 18 years old. Consequently, Moesha criticizes her father because he was unfaithful to their mother. Dee expresses her deep sense of betrayal, and Dorian is angry because the man he revered as a great uncle is really a bad father, in his opinion. Frank's betrayal hurts Moesha so badly that she decides to move into the dorm. She goes to school and sees Hakeem and Niecy at The Pendulum. Prior to her arrival, Hakeem had confessed to Niecy that he transferred to the California University to be close to Moesha because he's in love with her. He doesn't tells Moesha, however, because she begins to cry before he can get it out.

She breaks the news that she and Q are engaged. Upset and furious, Frank storms out. At home, Dorian and his new girlfriend, Kristen, give Myles a pizza and sneak off to Frank's bedroom. Myles carelessly puts the boxed pizza in the oven to warm up. Frank later arrives home to find smoke pouring out of the oven. As the smoke alarm goes off, Kristen comes running into the kitchen wearing Frank's robe. Frank scolds Dorian for inviting a girl over to the house unannounced. Dee calls Frank from Jamaica when things calm down and as they talk, it's clear that he feels he's losing control. They wish each other happy anniversary and declare that their family is nothing compared to the Huxtables from The Cosby Show. As Frank sits on the couch, he indulges into a fantasy about the Huxtables with the members of the family as the "cast." Denise (Moesha) talks to Vanessa (Niecy) in the kitchen and reveals her secret engagement to a musician. Cliff (Frank) enters and Vanessa blurts out the secret. Since Lamont helped Dorian out the night he spent in jail, he wants a half interest in Dorian's band, "What!." Dorian refuses and Lamont says he understands. Later, Lamont and his sidekick, Big Norm, visit Dorian and reiterate their demands for half of "What!." When Dorian refuses again, Lamont becomes even more threatening. Meanwhile, Hakeem still wants Moesha to move in with him, but she's not sure because her father is expecting her to return home for the summer. Hakeem assures her that he'll explain the situation to Frank. That night, Frank and Dee are frantic with worry when Myles fails to return home. When they go out to search for him, Diamond unexpectedly stops by the Mitchell home where Dorian was left to mind the phones. She informs him that Lamont is holding Myles captive until all demands are made. Moesha and Hakeem soon arrive to reveal their news to Frank. But when Dorian interrupts them and explains that Myles has been kidnapped, Moesha faints.....

Ok ok...Forget a cliffhanger...they pushed the show off the cliff and didn't tell us where it landed!!!What happens to Myles? Who is pregnant? Will Hakeem and Mo move in together? Did Lil Kim take that acting class? (sorry...couldn't resist)

Will we ever have these questions answered?
