Aloe vera juice - I take about 6 ounces, 2 or 3 times a day. I always buy organic. Aloe Vera Side Effects.

Relaxing the body - A long, hot bath or letting the shower stream massage your lower back can be very effective relaxation tools to help the colon release. Also, try taking several deep, slow breaths while you are sitting on the toilet, and letting each breath out very slowly. This can help relax you enough so that you can go.

Prune Juice - Yeah the good old stand by works. I drink about six to 8 ounces of prune juice. While helping with constipation, however, prunes increase gas in my case so use your own discernment of uncomfortable gas is already an issue. Natural remedies for gas

GT's Kombucha - This is a naturally effervescent drink. I happen to like the taste but some may not. Works well to help regulate elimination and also has positive effect on digestion.

Colonics - Colonics help with constipation. Colonics provide an expensive yet effective way to help the body restore normal bowel movements and is especially helpful with chronic constipation where there are no other colon issues. Colonics may not be advisable if you have IBS, Crohn's or other eliminatory health challenges and is usually not recommended with diverticulitis.
