I was not a teenager when the first Star Wars movie was released. I think I was around 22-23. However, I remember falling in love with Harrison Ford as Hans Solo, just like a teenage girl would have done. To be honest, I couldn't have cared less about the plot and the robots/special effects were quite lost on me. No one can deny that Star Wars changed the sense of what was possible forever and it deserves it's place in film history.
Since then, there have been many, many, many Star Wars episodes and tv series and... I confess that is the last time that I fell in love with anyone in a Star Wars movie. I did like Liam Neeson in his turn in the series but I did not fall in love with him. I'm definitely showing my age by saying all this.
