Mid-South Chapter, VHPA, Meeting Minutes 11 Nov 03

An abbreviated "meeting of opportunity" was called to order by Chapter President Ken Culwell at the Big River Grill, Nashville, after members marched in the Veterans Day Parade.

Attending were members Jim Clark, Ross Rainwater, Rhea Rippey, Bob Colson, Tom Reeves, and Bob Fladry.

OLD BUSINESS: None

NEW BUSINESS

o Quad A Conference. Since this meeting was impromptu, business topics were kept to a minimum, and primarily involved discussion of the upcoming AAAA meeting which will be held at the Opryland Hotel and Convention Center, 24-27 March 04.

Members' experiences were outstanding at the last Quad-A meeting while manning a VHPA recruiting table. They had free admission and access to all the latest rotary-wing "toys" on display. It was agreed that this is a golden opportunity for all those interested in participating in '04.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Although cloudy, it was a great day to march, with temperatures in the 60's. Turnout was excellent, as it usually is in Nashville.

It was a good day to be a Veteran.
