Mid-South VHPA, Meeting Minutes 5 Apr 08
Members present: Chris Horton (president), Mike Haley (vice president) Pete Norman (host and owner of our meeting place, Uncle Pete's Truck Stop, Lebanon ), Danny Cox, Robert Colson, and Ross Rainwater (secretary).
Secretary: Minutes of the previous meeting have been online since our last meeting. Approved.
Treasurer: No report available.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
o Election of officers. By unanimous vote the following members were elected:
Pete Norman, President
Mike Haley, Vice President
Danny Cox, Treasurer
Ross Rainwater, Secretary.
o Flying Thunder To The Wall. It was moved, seconded, and approved to support the stopover at the Lebanon Airport on 20 May 08. Financial support up to a maximum amount was authorized. President-Elect Norman said he would be contacting various companies in the area for additional support.
Another meeting at a date TBD will be held at the Lebanon Airport to evaluate the site and how we might provide manpower support during the visit.
Attendees then met at Pete's nearby hangar to view the progress on his TH-55A. Member Robert Colson continues to work on the rebuild.
