Nashville
Veterans Day Parade, 2004
Although the weather before and after
the parade was very wet and rainy, the rain stopped just before the
parade started, the first time in many years where marchers faced any
weather concerns at all. Even with threatening weather, the parade
route was lined with well-wishers, many with thank-you signs that
warmed the heart.
After the chapter contingent finished
the parade, we adjourned to Big River restaurant for lunch, which is
becoming a tradition in itself. It was another good "Welcome Home"
experience!

hat is an
original: Still has Vietnamese dirt
imbedded in it!
Both Rhea and Bob are veteran alumni of the
1st Cavalry Division, with Bob serving two tours
with the Division.
