THE LAMB IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED!

The Lamb was led to the slaughter, and grave,
This was a willing act; there were souls to save,
It was gloriously planned from the very beginning,
For Father and Son knew the world would be sinning.

It was the greatest of all heroic deeds,
The Lamb knew well he would die, and bleed,
He had deep concern before His appointed time,
But He said, "Your will to be done, not Mine."

Yes, the Lamb was led to the slaughter to stay,
Many signs occurred and were witnessed that day,
Showing the Lamb to be truly the Son of Man,
And how God had moved His Mighty hand.

That day our Lord flooded every home
With Light, that the world had never known,
The Lamb fulfilled every prophesy, every need
To the angel's chorus, "He is risen,
He is risen, indeed!"
