We never talked about it
but i usually get the blame
that i'm the one,
who always ignites the flame
I know i've let you down
and i never made you proud
just want to run away to the highway
and lose my self in the crowd
I walked a great many miles
carrying the memory of your million smiles
you have given me a number of chances
but i failed you in all those trials
at times i feel lettin' you down is a crime
i wanted to say i'm sorry
but wouldnt wanna waste your time
spare me one last chance
to make you proud
I'm in the middle of the highway
somewhere lost in the crowd.
