SPRING SERIES 2003

For various reasons the 2003 Spring Series consisted on only seven races, and by careful choice of race dates (back in February) we avoided all the good sailing winds.  Howsomever, we did have eight boats compete, five of them in six or seven events.

Eric Roline and his faithful pal PRESTO came in first by a good margin, winning four races. Mike Word was second, finishing second in every race he ran. Nancy and Bud Thomas were third, Kirk Wyss fourth and Tom Adams fifth.

If we can fit a few dates in between the football games, there will be more racing this fall, so come on out and compete. It's all in fun, and if there is wind it really is fun.

You may have missed the good eats at this years events, but Head Chef Randall Turner on loan from the Cafe' Tortuga will be honing his skills for the Fall Season. Show up once and you too will be hooked on his culinary skills!
