Meet My IRC Chat Friends

I have met many good friends, while on irc, some even
seems like family .Their friendship means a lot to me.
Some have came and gone, but true friends always remain.
I hope I haven't left anyone out.
If so, please let me know.

Friends Without Faces

We sit and we type, and stare at our screens
We sometimes wonder, what all of this means
We chat with each other, we type all our woes
Small groups we do form, and gang up on our foes.
We wait for somebody to type out our name
We want recognition, just a little bit of fame.
We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes we flirt
In the channel we chat, and reveal why we hurt.
We form our friendships, and sometimes we know
That some of these friendships will flourish and grow.
Why is it on screen, we can all be so bold
Telling those secrets, that have never been told.
Why is it we share, the thoughts in our mind
With those we can't see, as though we were blind.
The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell
We all have our problems, and need someone to tell.
We can't tell real people, but tell someone we must
So we turn to the'puter, and to those we can trust.
Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains
They are all "Friends Without Faces", with odd little names.

JOY
I have a great joy that comes from the soul.
A wonderful feeling that makes me whole.
A feeling of closeness though we are apart.
Try to explain, but I can't even start.
We laugh and joke, you bring me a smile.
We share and we cry every once in a while.
Owe you so much for caring for me.
Supporting a friend you can't even see.
I hope this feeling of joy never ends.
