GAME TREED WITH SKYGUSTY PLOTT HOUNDS

Welcome to my online photo album.

Here at Skygusty Kennels we do not harvest all the game we tree or bay, as you will see in the following pictures. My wife, Joyce, enjoys taking many pictures of the animals that we hunt. All good and considerate hunters leave seed for the next seasons and for the future hunters of America.

VIRGINIA BOBCAT

This bobcat was bayed under the cliffs, just off of the scenic Skyline Drive in Patrick County, Virginia. We caught him with a long hog catcher, put him in the dog box where he quickly scented it. He was turned over to the local game warden and relocated away from Charlie's daddy's exotic birds. While we had him for a few days, we fed him live chickens. You can see the feathers inside the cage. He was a medium bobcat of about 20 to 25 pounds.

'PR' Skygusty Samson's Strength and Joyce

This is a picture of my wife Joyce, with her Plott Hound Samson with the catch of coons they got the night before. She tries to hunt regularly with her Plott hounds 3 to 4 nights a week when weather is good or she isn't bogged down with homework from college. This picture was taken in Granville, Missouri in Monroe County.

'PR' Skygusty Samson's Strength and Joyce

The bear treed in this picture was treed by 'PR' Skygusty Daniel's Den. At one time he was JJ or Stump's hound. He was sold to Wade Mann who lives in Philedelphia, Missouri. Wade says he is the best all around tree dog he has ever owned. His new name is 'PR' Coffee Creek Dan. Dan is out of our Moses and Dolly Plott Hounds.
