6/22/99 Well, it's been a long time since I updated this section! I wanna talk about something good today since I always talk about what I don't like on here. Well, I'll talk about... hmm... I dunno. I know! EYES! I love eyes! I want to marry someone with beautiful eyes. My faves are blue, green, and hazel. Some brown eyes are pretty, but not mine. lol! My crush has the most amazing eyes! They're like a bue/green/hazel. They're awesome! We sometimes have staring contests(sorta) and I swear I can just feel waves of electricity run through my entire body! I can tell so much about someone when I look into their eyes... it's kinda cool. It really is true about eyes being the windows to your soul. Anyway... that's enough for today I think... if you have pretty eyes, email me and tell me about them! Send me comments or questions or anything... email me w/ your thoughts and opinions on anything. Give me a few subjects to talk about later on. ok bye! :)
12/17/98 Hellew! Well, I just want to say, being sick sucks! lol! Especially when you only have two days left to see your crush before a 3 week X-mas break. *frowns* I just be better so I can go to school tomorrow. Anyway, send me your comments on any subject you wanna talk about! I'll put it up for you.
10/25/98 Hi! Well, I'm finally updating this page! :) Ok, here's a couple of peopl's comments! The first one is from Paige(the same girl that sent me her comments below):
"another thing I have to add is not onlyare the conceited but judgmental too. When we wen't to the concert I worevery tight bootcut Calvin Klein Jeans, A J-Crew funky kinda 70's button up shirt, and under that i had a DKNY plain blue shirt. My friend wore GAPcargo khakis, and a Abercrombie and Fitch Tank Top. When we first met them all eyes were on me. I don't wanna jump to conclusions but i think that hanson don't really like it when we (fans) wear tank tops. I don't know, do they think its disgusting? I mean come on, its not like my friend was showing her whole body to them. I don't know. But come on would you like to see hanson wearing tank tops? For the majority of you, you answered yes. And if i asked some guys that they would answer yes, why cause their horney. My question is why isn't hanson?"And this comment is from Mary(?):
"Hello. OK, I have a comment on the whole blond-hair-blue-eyes issue. Yes, it is kind of horrible to judge someone by the way they look, but people keep blaming it on the "fame". HA! I think we see Hanson too much as the good-little-boys-next-door and not as regular, hormonal teenage boys. I would bet you any amount of money that if they were still back in Tulsa, playing outside of bars and going nowhere fast, they'd still be like that. How do we know they weren't like that all along? They never did, and still don't show that side of them on TV or in interviews. Boys that age are controlled by their penises. It's the sad truth. I've rarely met a guy that liked me for ME, and was attracted to my personality. Even my best guy friends hit on me continuously. It's the age. Hopefully, it's just a phase that all of them go through. It's easy to blame it on fame, because we were all looking for it, we were all expecting the fame to get to them somehow. They talk back to their parents. IT'S THE FAME GETTING TO THEIR HEADS! They get in a fight. IT'S THE FAME! It's human nature. Sometimes, it's brutal, but that's life."
9/12/98 Well, the subject is the MTV VMI's. *sigh* Where do I start? I guess with the Opening Act. I have to say it was a lot better than the actual awards show. I loved the Barenaked Ladies' performance!!! It was sooo cool! Usher wasn't that great. Rebbecca Romijn's dress was absolutely nasty! Eww! I would never ever wear that! Umm... Hanson. Well, they were shown when they arrived. I have to say that they really badly need to brush their hair. I heard that they don't even have a stylist, and I used to stand up for them with their nasty outfits saying that their stylist picked their clothes out. Now I really wish they would hire a stylist. I'm sorry, but Tay's shirt was really ugly. It was like a tie dyed thing. At least it wasn't tight. :) On to the actual show. Madonna needed a bra badly, and she didn't sing that well either. She was dancing pretty nasty with Maxwell. Umm.... Monica and Brandy sucked. I'm so tired of that song, but I actually thought the performance would be OK, I thought wrong. Brandy's dress was gross. It had some big poufy thing on her butt. Eww. They didn't even sound that great. When Hanson came out, I noticed Taylor stop and wait for Sara. I couldn't help but think 'blonde haired, blue eyed'. Their lines were corny. But Zac looked so cute! He has certainly grown. I noticed they were all taller than Sarah. lol! I heard that Zac got braces, it didn't look like he had them. Anyway.... that's all I remember about that show. But I do think that the people who come up with the lines should be less corny and I thought Ben Stiller sucked. He was kinda funny with his little skits though. Ok, I've been at this for long enough. Email me with your comments!
8/28/98 I have to set somethings straight. I've been feeling bad for the past two days. I have NOTHING against blonde haired blue eyed girls! I think they're very lucky to be blessed with beautiful hair and eyes. (in case you don't know, I love blue eyes, I love guys who have blue eyes) Anyway,I have friends who are blonde haired blue eyed. I just think that it's kinda rude to just not talk to someone because they have brown or black or whatever hair color or eye color, especially if they're your fan. The fans are who get the stars where they are. If it weren't for the fans, Hanson would still be in Tulsa singing at Big Splash Water Park or where ever. I don't think it's fair to such people because it's not like we CHOSE our hair color or our eye color! I don't care if that's the sort of girl they're looking for. If they're attracted to those girls, that's their thing. But when you limit yourself to only talking to someone who fits your criteria, that's just plain mean and rude. Only ignorant people would do that. I meet a lot of people who are really nice and have great pesonalities, and they all become my friends. And that's because I don't limit myself to only those who have nice hair or if they have a cute outfit or something. I smile at everyone and start a conversation. That's how you meet the friends and boyfriends that really matter. Anyway, I've been talking too much. Email me your comments!
8/25/98 I think parents are very hypocritical sometimes. They say that we should respect them more, but really they should be respecting us more. They treat us like babies. They don't realize that we can think for ourselves and we aren't stupid. My parents don't respect my privacy, and they are way too over-protective. They never let me talk to guys on the phone. I'm sorry, but I think that sucks sooo bad! I have a lot of friends that are guys amd I can never talk to them except at school. They read over my shoulder when I'm on the computer and always check on me. I mean, my mom and dad literally open the door to my room and just look around just to make sure I'm not doing anything I shouldn't be doing. That really makes me mad. My dad used to read my email along with my sisters, so I got my own account at Hotmail. (Thank God for Hotmail!) I realize that not all parents are like this, but a lot of them are. I think parents should learn to respect us and let us make our own decisions so that we can make our own mistakes and learn from them. My parents say I talk back, but really, I'm just standing up for myslelf because they always take things the wrong way so I'm just stating the truth. Anyway, I'm done for today. Email me your comments!
I recieved an email from a girl named Paige. She sent me her comments on my thoughts that are below these comments. here's what she had to say:
"I totally agree with you. Let me tell you my story: I went to the Detroit concert at the Palace. Me and my friend had back-stage passes. When we met them they ONLY payed attention to me. This may sound familiar but I have blonde hair blue eyes, my friend on the other hand has brown hair and green eyes. Hmmm kinda freaky huh? When I talked to Hanson they only looked at ME, not my poor friend. I swear I was about to hit them! My friend did NOTHING, she asked them a question they totally ignored it and started another conversation with me. HOPEFULLY someday they will realize what has gotten into them and also realize how fame can really get to them."
A girl named Nikki emailed me and was kind enough to share her thoughts with me, and now I'll share them with you. She agrees with me about Hanson seeming conceited. Here's what she had to say:
"I've been a fan of Hanson since the end of 7th grade (I'm going into 9th now), and I've always stood behind them. Yet now I'm starting to wonder if their fame has in fact gotten to their heads. While I was reading the Yahoo chat I noticed the same things as you. I still respect them for their talent and being able to do something I could only dream of, but sometimes I just really wonder about them." Very well said Nikki! (not me, another Nik) Better than my babbling that I put below. Anyway, send me you thoughts on the subject!!! Do you agree? disagree? Let me know!!!
8/21/98 I think Hanson's starting to get a bit conceited. Now wait a minute before you email me hate mail! At least read my reasons why. My friend won backstage passes and front row seats to the LA Hanson concert(let's say her name is Joan, she doesn't want me to reveal her name). She gave them to her friend. And when she called Joan back after the concert, she told Joan that when she met Hanson backstage, they were very conceited. She said that Tay was so conceited that the girls were talking to Ike and Zac, but that they were conceited too. She said that they were only talking to blonde hair blue eyed girls. Also, when I read the transcript to the Yahoo! chat with Hanson, someone asked them why they decided to call the album Middle of Nowhere. They answered with something along the lines of, 'if you were a true fan you would know that we got it from our song Man from Milwaukee.' Now I'm sorry, but I found this a little.... hmm, what's the word,... rude. yes, rude. it sounded very rude and conceited. If I'm not mistake, the question was WHY they chose it,not where they got it from. I realize I'm going to get a lot of hate mail. But I don't regret saying it one bit. I still am a very big fan of Hanson. I still love their music very much and still respect them for their talent. But I'm dissapointed that they would become like all the other famous people, by becoming full of themselves. There is a good chance that they still aren't conceited, that maybe they were just kidding about their 'true fan' comment. But I have a good reason to believe it. Of all the famous musicians and actors/actresses, I haven't heard of one that is not full of themselves. Well, maybe Celine Dion, she seems really nice, but I can't be sure. I understand that it's easy to get like that once you hit it big. But I know that if I were ever famous, I would not change. Ok, next subject.
I'm starting to get VERY annoyed by that stupid Monica Lewinski/Bill Clinton thing. NO ONE CARES!!!! It's none of our business if he had sex with another woman! It happens all the time! That doesn't mean I think it's ok with me, but I don't want to know! Like I said, it's none of our business. It only concerns Ms. Lewinski and Mr. & Mrs Clinton. The thing I think sucks is that Bill Clinton had to lie about it! I thought that was just plain stupid! Like nobody wouldn't find out! lol! And I really hate how they interrupt TV shows just for an update on something. I can sure as hell wait until the news is on at the regular time! **ok that's enough for today. send me your thought on these subjects too!**
