I was born into one of the richest families in Brazil. Ever since I was a small boy, I knew I would one day take over the family business. I was well-liked in my home town because I was a hard worker and I treated others as my equals.
One day when I was 19, I came home from school to find my father shot and dying. I recalled that he had been unusually nervous and fearful in prior weeks.
My father was working to destroy the drug cartel in Brazil. His untimely death had occured just when he had obtained enough evidence to put the kingpins away for good. In his last breaths, he told me,"Now is not the time to fight. Falsely admit to the crime and hide in prison. Only there will be safe".
I went along with my father's last wishes and I went from model student with a life of luxary to incarceration as a muderer.
Prison life was hell, and not a day went by that I didn't vow to get even with my father's killers.
One day druing a prison riot, I watched an old man with great power fighting using a technique he called Capoeira. For eight years, I practiced until I became a master and could be considered a lethal weapon.
Upon my release from prison, I heard about the Third King of Iron Fist Tournament and the Mishima Financial Empire. I decided to enter the tournament, believing I could peruade the MFE to help me seek my long-awaited revenge.
