Mrs. Shuman passed away at 4:05 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, she was 87 years old. Mrs. Shuman had been residing in Elgin, Illinois. She was 18 months old when she boarded Titanic, traveling in 3rd class with her mother and 4 year old brother, both of whom also survived the sinking. In the recent months, with the release of Cameron's film, she had been gaining alot of attention by the media which she seemed to enjoy. She also enjoyed the film, attending the Chicago premier in December and returning to see it more than once.
