Carpetbagger custom mats have a natural elegance that no synthetic mat or imitation cocoa mat can match.
Carpetbagger custom mats are manufactured in the USA from natural coir (coconut) fiber bristles, which are inserted into a weatherproof vinyl backing. The bristles offer a unique brush-style cleaning surface. This cleaning feature is far superior to that of imitation cocoa mats and other synthetic mats. Also Carpetbagger custom mats are safer: they WILL NOT CURL UP and are SKID RESISTANT.
Carpetbagger custom mat designs are applied with textile paints that are air brushed all the way to the vinyl backing. An activator and bonding agent is added to each color of paint to ensure a permanent bond to the cocoa fibers. The designs are both fade and weather resistant. Custom designs and graphics can be created on a special order basis.
The tough vinyl backing holds its shape for the life of the mat as well as prevents unraveling or deterioration of the natural coir fibers. This construction allows Carpetbagger custom mats to trap dirt inside the mat rather than allowing debris to filter through the mat and cause damage to exterior floor surfaces or interior floor coverings. The mats are easily cleaned by shaking or vacuuming. Carpetbagger custom mats are STAIN, ROT, AND MILDEW RESISTANT.
Carpetbagger custom mats are limited to the imagination of the customer. The whole concept of creating these mats came from the fact that many mats offered on the market are not made with the attention to detail and quality that Carpetbagger puts into each mat. Also, there are few mat suppliers that will custom make mats of this quality for under $100. As a matter of fact, you can purchase "custom" mats from other places for over $41 plus shipping and the mat isn't as durable nor of the level of quality of the Carpetbagger custom mats. Their "custom" mats are made of outdoor carpeting and has the graphics silk screened ("tuffed") onto the surface. As many people know, such application of images are not able to put up with constant abuse from things like shoes. The silk screen medium isn't thick enough nor has enough bonding agents to grip the synthetic fibers of outdoor carpeting. In addition, outdoor carpeting mats are typically light and easily blown away from the doorstep - the place you'd expect to find your mat when coming home in a rain storm. Nothing frustrates people more than having a product fail when it is needed the most.
