William,
As an Illinois fan, when I read that your
'advantage' went to Indiana's bench, I knew you
didn't know squat about basketball. As a
graduate of Indiana, I ask that you do your
research and serve as a legitimate informational
source if you're going to speak out and post your
opinions on the internet. Use your brain.
Matt
Well Matt, apparently you read someone elses analysis of the game. In fact, I'm sure that it was Inside Indiana that gave Indiana a bench advantage in it's game preview.
So as far as I know, WIB has been a legitimate informational source for IU basketball. As far as using my brain is concerned, I think I use it to my advantage most of the time.
Write again soon...be sure to tell us where your loyalty stands. I'm a bit confused there.
Dear William,
My name is Randell Rutherford and I was wondering if your university could send me pictures of your basketball, football, or baseball teams. I work at a nursing hame in Sandusky, Ohio and our residents love college sports. It would be a great thrill to get a picture signed by you or a player. Any consideration you give us would be greatly appreciated.
Please send to **** West Parish Street Sandusky, Ohio 44870
Randell, oh Randell. Something about your letter cracked me up. I'm pretty humbled you would want an autograph from me; nonetheless, I'd be glad to help out the residents there in Sandusky! I'll sign something and send it out this week.
Dear William,
Hello William---
First I want to commend you on an excellent website, I came across while trying to search out the year-by-year records for Hoosier basketball. I am trying to find the best four-year period in their history. At one time, I remember the Buckner-May class was the winningest 4-year class ever in the Big Ten, and I am wondering whether that record will withstand the challenge of the current seniors at Michigan State.
Would you be so kind as to direct me as to where I might be able to find that info.
Thanks in advance
Bill Cohen
The 1972-1976 and the 1990-1994 IU teams finished with 108 wins each. That was the Big Ten record for career victories until this year when Michigan State beat Penn State on February 24th for their 109th win. You can find all that information in the INDIANA 2000-2001 Media Guide & Yearbook.
Thanks for the kind words! WIB keeps me pretty busy as I'm the lone man behind the scene.
Dear William,
Have you seen a "knight was right" t-shirt anywhere????
William Schlimme
Well William, I live in Tennessee, land of the free and the brave enough to be a Volunteer fan (they don't deserve a bid...cough cough). If there even was such a thing as a "Knight was right" tee, I'd be the last person to ask.
If anybody knows of one, email me and I'll be sure William gets the info.
