Bertha Mae Yarber Flood was born November 24, 1893 at Mountain View, Missouri, the daughter of Andrew and Julia Ann Yarber (see notes) and departed this life of February 20, 1981 at West Vue Nursing Home in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 87 years. She was married to Lee Walter Flood on October 11, 1917 at West Plains, Missouri and to this union two children were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters, of Mountain View, Missouri; four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
She was the last of a family of nine and a member of the Church of Christ. She was baptized in 1917 and attended the Lord's Church for 61 years.
Services were held Tuesday, February 24 at 10:00 a.m. in the Duncan Funeral Chapel in Mountain View with Daryl Yarber officiating. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Duncan Funeral Home in Mountain View.
