Services Are Held For Clarence Denton
Funeral Services for Clarence Edward Denton, 63, of Mtn. View, who died Dec 7 in the *VA Hospital at Popular Bluff, were to be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Chapel Hill Church.
Mr. Denton was born near Mtn. View, Jan. 21, 1895 to Anderson and Pearl Denton.
He married Mary Katherine Fisher, March 9, 1926. Two children were born to them.
Surviving is his wife; a son, Virgil Monroe Denton, Lothian, Md.; a daughter, Independence; a granddaughter, ; a stepgranddaughter, Alice Sue Evans; four brothers, Claude Denton, Henry Arthur Denton, **Virland Martin Denton, all of Okean, Ark.; and John Denton, Mtn. View; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Lee, Mrs. Irene Davidson, and Mrs. Madge Davidson, all of Mtn. View. He is proceeded by his parents, a sister, Mrs. Ethel ______ and a brother, Luther Ott Denton.
Burial was to be in Chapel Hill Cemetery at Mtn. View
under the direction of Duncan Funeral Home.
