Maxine Yarber was born April 9, 1916 at Mountain View, Mo., the daughter of Roll and Rena (Hunt) Yarber and departed this life on Sept. 12, 1988 at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs, Mo. at the age of 72 years.  She lived at home until illness sent to this facility four years ago.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Howard.
She is survived by three brothers,  one sister,  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Before her years of illness she worked for Hayes Store where she made many friends far and wide.  She attended church as long as health permitted. Enduring suffering always but with a smile.  It was easy to love her, she was so kind and caring and had made new friends at the nursing home.  Maxine (or "Macky" lovingly referred to) will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services were held Wed., Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. in the Duncan Funeral Chapel at Mountain View with Rev. Vernon Lourance officiating.
