Dear Mrs. Anthony:
We surely appreciate and enjoyed the Museaum! Wish we could help you.
Will have the copies I have of the Poor School made and send some to you. My Grandfather attended t his school, so did his own brother, Leonadas and the children of the second wife of Wade L.Y. He married after my Grandfather's mother died.
Dahlonega is so interesting to me. My Mother Sue Wikle Y. and her Mother was Sue Massey McJunkin Wikle-her mother was descended from Richard Hooper. Anyway Joseph Jefferson McJunkin came to this area from Union County, S.C. married Amatha Cockerham who, I believe was the Granddaughter of Richard Hooper. My mother's mother & her first cousin, Mary Hooper and Susan Hooper married brothers, Judge Jessie Wikle, R. Wikle and W.S.D. Wikle, my Grandfather.
It is all so interesting and valuable to me, as I appreciate those in the past and value the fine way they lived.
Thanking you,
Sincerely,
Pearl Y. Taliferro (Mrs. W. E.)
