One Dream Imagined in Collaboration

I have known Justin Griffin (the good hermit) since 1995. He knew me in the time just before I came to Christ when I was in an upheaval of emotions. I knew that I could not go on as I had, that I was self-destructing. I saw myself through a dark light. He saw the light of what I could be in Christ. I am ever thankful to him for speaking to me in that calm quiet voice. He knew things about me which I found disturbing, yet he didn't judge me. He just kept talking to me. He showed me the truth of what a Christian could be. He showed me the love God would show any lost lamb. Truly I believe that devine intervention placed Justin, the good hermit, in my life.

I began having dreams during this turning point. One that I shared with Justin sparked his interest. I had turned a corner and was prepared to listen to God. I felt as if the dream meant that I had climbed the mountain of disbelief and mistrust and need only travel on in faith across the feilds and forest of life to be united with God in His city. I wrote a poem about the image remembered from the dream. After discussing the dream at length with me and setting the poem before him, Justin drew the image I had seen in the dream.

The poem and the drawing follow (displayed with Justin's permission). Thanks for everything, Justin!

Peace, love, and forgiveness,
Leslie
