Home | Poetry | Guestbook | Email | Links Hello there, Just a Tad About Me I was born and raised in Saginaw Michigan in a small Italian community there and have since been transplanted, as they say, to Nashville Tennessee more than twenty years ago. This was strictly by choice you understand; preferring the slower, more genteel pace of the South and all its beauty entwined in abundant rich history. With our family nearly grown I returned to my forsaken love to fill the void, namely poetry. Though not nearly as good yet as I would hope to be, the effort is most rewarding. I have derived a great amount of enjoyment in the many activities I've had the pleasure of being involved in here online. Activities and Publications Once bitten by the open mic bug some time back in a local coffee house, soon after I was honored to be invited to attend the Pocono Poets Tour in Pa. This was found to be a great learning experience literally at the feet of some of our very own fantastic poets online. I also self published my first chapbook at that time, a modest attempt at best. I must inject here there is still much to learn before I can consider myself a 'true poet'. Some of my works were published on occasion in PurpleInks, an online newsletter which I was spotlighted in when I first started my journey. I was also spotlighted a couple of times online, and found that to be a great learning experience. I've been fortunate to be included at Dave Gitomer's website a couple times in the past and a few of my works were published in PoetsReview from time to time. I am pleased to say I've been asked to join their staff. Also, some works have been featured in 'Words Paint Pictures', a snail mail magazine that offers much pleasure to the reader put out by Jasminen1, a remarkable gal who along with many others has encouraged me to continue my quest. Svonlien has graciously situated me on one of her websites with a vocal of what I call my signature poem. You will find her in the links that follow along with other poets whom I hold in very high esteem. Well guess that is about all, nothing earthshattering... just a simple woman with a love for the written word. Long may it flourish, ever may it flow into the hearts of future generations!
