The exquisite beauty of the chinchilla's fur along with its
great personality and irresistible appearance makes this creature a great
family pet.
Chinchillas are rodents and they are noturnal. They
have large ears with good hearing and prefer a quiet place to sleep. They
have large hind legs and small front legs that are hand-like. They use
these for holding things.
Chinchillas are socialable little
animals and can stay by themselves; but they prefer having company.
Chinchillas can NOT take the heat--over 75 degrees is dangerous!
