Southern Flying Squirrel

A Southern Flying Squirrel is quite small. Adults are usually 9-10" long, including their tail. They weigh 4-6oz. Its large eyes, loving nature and gliding ability make it a popular pocketpet.

Southern Flying Squirrels do not harbor fleas, lice, ticks, mites or any other parasites that might transmit disease; thus among flying squirrels it is very rare.
