In response to the growing community of Hot Wheels "scalpers", we have revamped our system of inserting Treasure Hunt Series cars into cases. In the past these "scalpers" seemed to be able to find out which cases the Treasure Hunt Series cars were in, and they would make sure to get them before the general public had a chance. Mattel does not condone this activity. The appearance of Treasure Hunt Series cars in different cases is now completely random. Improving the random insertion process should increase the general consumer's chances of getting these hard-to-find cars. We hope it will restore the fun of "the hunt" for all Hot Wheels collectors.
