The mini-cattleyas are great house plants at a sunny window or under plant lights. You can have a whole collection in the space it would take to have a full size standard cattleya or phalaenopsis. They are taken care of like the other cattleyas. Many of the mini-cattleyas bloom more than once a year and they come in a variety of bright colors, such as red, orange, yellow, purple, white, and combinations.
