Serving Area and Cool Room

The serving area is an open area that opens in the east wall of the Main Hall. It contains a firepit for cooking, racks of ka-la-na and other wines, as well as carskes of mead and ale. Shelves line the northwest corner of the room where plates, trays, and various serving vessels are kept. A doorway in the north wall leads to the training room. On the east wall are vegetable bins as well as a doorway leading to the cool room. In the center of the room is a table for preparations. Along the south wall are shelves for spices and the sa-tarna or bread shelves.
