It isn't always easy to find
A true friend along the way
Someone you can admire and trust
Can't be found every day.

Isn't it just wonderful
We reach out and say hello
To many people that we meet
Wherever we may go.

Aren't we lucky when we find
That very special one
What a glorious feeling
When our day is finally done.

Days are so fulfilling
No matter hot or cold
Just having a very caring friend
More precious than silver or gold.
