Angelic Echo Of Grandpa's Violin
Angelic vision in my soul,
I look toward the sky
Grandpa's violin, resonates on high
Story being told of his unspoken vow
Departure from this earthly
realm an Angel plays it now.
Etched within my heart
chamber bright and cheery
Memories of Grandpa
I cherish very dearly
Violin in hand, eyes that are closed
Lost in the world of melody he chose.
Violin arched under his chin
Bow glides gently, o'er the strings
Striking a heavenly chord
Captured perfection, his just reward.
O reverent instrument, rhapsody of sound
Sweet hallowed violin impact so profound
Musical language of his heart
Echoes of joy and sorrow
fine tuned to a delicate art.
With bated breath we listen
master of the violin
His legacy is christened
With violin and bow,
He takes his final bow
Beyond this earthly
realm an Angel plays it now.
