A Special Painting of you
Artists paint with brushes all the beauty they behold
The beauty that they see in things is why their
paintings sold!!
Friends paint things that are in their hearts,
things you and I can't see. They paint the things
that bring them joy and what they see in you and me!
If I could paint a picture of the friend you are to me,
it would be the kind of painting that everyone would
want to see!!
If I could paint a masterpiece I'd paint your caring
heart. I'd paint the love you have inside and have
had from the start.
I'd paint all the wonderful things you do without
asking one thing in return
I'd paint how you are always there when I
need someone to care. How you listen to each
word I say, never judging, showing only concern.
My painting would be a masterpiece filled with
so much love and care. Because that is the
kind of friend you are and I am glad you
are always there!!
I cannot paint a masterpiece, but I hope inside
you see, the beauty of the painting I would do
and what your friendship means to me.
