The good shepherd leads the way
He is with us night and day
In the valley of life we may be
But He is there with you and me.
He speaks when the night is still
His voice gentle and tranquil
Saying, never look far ahead
Look to Me instead.
Do not worry about anything
I am with you all the way
The road may be rough
Be sure you trust and obey.
The good shepherd is always around
With Him we are on solid ground
Feel His love surging through
And know He will care for me and you.
