Interview with Casey
Question: What has been the hardest thing in the Busch Grand National series so far?
There is not one thing that has been too hard so far, probably though being new to stock car racing would be the hardest. Casey hasn’t been to half of the tracks that the series has visited. Also Casey has to learn how easy it takes to drive the car.
Question: What are realistic goals for you in the next few years?
Casey stated that anything can happen but his plans are to run Busch Grand National for the 2002 and 2003 seasons and maybe be running Winston Cup in 2004. The first year that he runs Winston Cup he wants to have the best season possible and do the best he can. He also wants to run the Indy 500 along with the Winston Cup race.

His dad, Roger; his uncle, Rick and his Mom.

Nashville Superspeedway, since he did well the first time that he was here.
Question: Do you have any fears in racing?
He has no fears, if he had any fears he wouldn’t be completing. Though he doesn’t like the bad days.

Watching his dad and Uncle Rick race, also he was so involved in it already.

Everything, getting the opportunity to race in the Busch Grand National series and also getting to fill-in for Alex Zandria when he lost his leg.

Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Hank Parker Jr. He said that he gets good advice from most of the other Busch drivers too.

It’s tough, it’s not easy. Don’t give-up too quickly. Be patient
Question: What has been your greatest accomplishment/disappointment so far in racing?
Struggling in the IRL and going to Indy and not having the equipment to make the field (disappointment)
Getting to run for Bobby Ray Hall in a Champ car at California and finishing 4th. Also filling in for Alex Zandria (accomplishment)
What’s one interesting fact about you that people don’t know?
Casey is real laid back, he is just an average guy and easy to get along with.
