About Clay Greenfield
Clay Greenfield is seventeen years old and has competed in 8 racing divisions at 13 different tracks. He has 175 career wins and has collected 7 championships. One of his most fond racing memories is winning three different divisions in one night at Twin Fountains Raceway. Clay currently races Nascar Late Model Stock Cars (LMSC) at Nashville Speedway, Highland Rim Speedway in Ridgetop, TN, and Beach Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY. Clay is the 2000 Rookie of the Year at Highland Rim Speedway and the 2001 LMSC Champion. He was also voted "Favorite Driver" by the fans at Highland Rim Speedway.
Clay Biography
Clay was born on June 3, 1984. His first driving experience was at 2 years old when he crawled into his dads truck and drove it into a tree. He began driving construction equipment around the family business at the age of 3. As a child Clay played baseball, soccer, and basketball. He played high school baseball before giving it up because racing took up so much of his time. With help from Crew Chief Larry Overstreet and crew members Jason Davis and Billy Basham, Clay and his dad do most of the work on the cars themselves. Clay attends Clarksville Academy and Hilldale Baptist Church. He enjoys hanging out with his friends in his spare time.
