  • Things that he likes to do besides racing: Play Nascar 4 on the computer, Hang out with my Girlfriend and friends, watch movies.
  • Future Plans: Eventually move up into higher divisions of Nascar
  • Goals for the year: Win Rookie of the Year, finish top ten in points
  • Opinion on the old speedway closing soon and everything moving to the Superspeedway: I wish they wouldn’t close down the old speedway. There is so much history there, and its been apart of so many people’s lives. It has also been a really good place for young drivers to get good experience because its so competitive.
  • What are some of his responsibilities at the shop? I am at the shop just about everyday to help my crew chief with all the work that has to be done on the truck.
  • What types of image do you portrayal to your fans on and off the track? On the track- Aggressively patient, smart, and smooth. Off the track- Humble, Professional, likable.
  • Who have you patterned yourself most like: My Parents, they have taught me all I need to know for both life and racing.
  • Most Memorable race/racing achievement: Winning my first race at a Nashville in a Street Modified, and Winning two IKF Grand National Titles in Go Karts.
  • Advice to young drivers starting out: Be patient and learn all you can from those who are experienced.
  • What kind of streetcar do you drive: Chevy S-10
  • Being a race car driver, how many speeding tickets have you gotten from driving too fast in your streetcar? 4
  • Is it hard to go slower in your streetcar? Yes, especially right after a race.
  • What other race drivers do you hang out with at the track? Jimmy Valentine, Willie Allen, Stuart Kirby
  • How did you get involved with your sponsors: I had help from my team owner, Darryl Noble, as well as my dad, Kip McCord, and Bobby Hamilton.
