Opinion on the old speedway changing: I am VERY excited about the new changes at the track… I believe if everyone from the employees of the track to the drivers & teams and even the fans get all the same excitement that Dennis has shown to have… Fairgrounds Speedway WILL be a SUCCESS!!!
What are some of hers responsibilities at the shop? Since our shop is in Columbia, TN it’s a little difficult for me to be there on a daily basis. I plan on being in the shop 2-3 times a week to help out as much as possible.
What types of image do you portrayal to your fans on and off the track? I adore all kids at the speedway who come out to the track on a weekly basis with their parents. One of my favorite parts of the Sat night event is after the race when all the fans come down to the infield to check out the cars and just talking to them. All kids need a good role model, and that is what they look to the drivers as…. ROLE MODELS- on & off the track. I have created relationships with some of the kids over e-mails… we have kept contacts over the winter… Also, a young lady that I met at the track last summer invited me to visit her school in the next couple of weeks to talk to her classmates about racing.
Who have you patterned yourself most like: Her Father, Dan Renshaw.
Most Memorable race/racing achievement: Testing with Ultra Motorsports & Dodge Motorsports in Lakeland, FL, over the winter.
Advice to young drivers starting out: Always DREAM… and BELIEVE that those dreams can come true… L.T.D. Baby!!! ( Live the Dream)
What kind of streetcar do you drive: I drive a F-150 Ford Truck
Being a race car driver, how many speeding tickets have you gotten from driving too fast in your streetcar? In my lifetime, I have received around 2 or 3 tickets.. That’s not including the one’s I have talked them out of… Ha Ha
Is it hard to go slower in your streetcar? Not really… I feel safer in my race car than I do my streetcar.
How did you get involved with your sponsors: Negotiate, Negotiate, and Negotiate…
