| THE TWO WITNESSES ARE HERE To Implement God's Great Power on Earth |
|
In the eleventh chapter of the Book of Revelation, we see that John was summoned by an angel to measure the temple, and the altar, and those that worshipped therein: And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. Revelation 11:1. So we see clearly that the Temple must be built. Also, we see that the Jews will return to their worship as their fathers did in the days of Abraham: But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. Revelation 11:2-3. Now it is made clear to the Believers, not only will the Jews and Gentiles live closely together for forty-two months (1,260 days), but they will worship closely together during that time. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. Revelation 11:13. The world looks on as the Powers of God are demonstrated. Without a doubt, people will be gathered together, making fun over the death of these two God-ordained witnesses and how they were slain. From where I sit, and with my understanding, this is the Second Woe. We must take a close look at this verse, for this one verse tells us about a great earthquake and it's DIS-power. This earthquake follows immediately after the two witnesses, who were dead. They received life from God into their bodies and they stood upon their feet. Look again at Revelation 11:13 above. All at once, without a moment's notice, the earthquake causes a tenth part of the city to fall and seven thousand men die (are slain). The remnant are frightened and give glory to THE GOD OF HEAVEN. Shall we say now, it is time for everybody to wake up and give glory to God! |

| LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU | |
"Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves"; the Great Commission that He (Jesus Christ) gave to His Disciples. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 10:7. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16. When the Disciples asked the question about the sign of His coming, the answer was, "Take heed that no man deceive you": And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Matthew 24:3-4. |

| THE THIEF SEEKS TO STEAL THE SHEEP | |
The first thing the enemy, our adversary, seeks is our ability to hear the whole truth of God's Word. If he succeeds in this effort, then it is our understanding that is darkened. God wants us to understand just how He works. Just as He worked, so must we. It has been said of late, "The harvest is in the field; the fields are white unto harvest." |

| THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB | |
God uses whomever He will in the world and in the heavens to perfect His great plan for our lives. Lucifer (the lesser power) rebelled in Heaven and was cast down by our all-powerful God. Lucifer is now called Satan, devil, thief, and many other names by Jesus Christ in the Word of God. He is now running. I do not think he walks any more because he is well aware that his time is very short before he is bound and cast into the bottomless pit for one thousand years. While we are still on this subject, allow me to pass on to all Believers another reference we find in God's Word about the powers God allows Satan to use: The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. Nahum 1:3. In the Name of Jesus, I write. From where I sit, this is the way I see the picture. |
