| But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. Revelation 10:7. This angel sounds or begins to sound. Then, And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 11:15. Great voices are heard in Heaven. It will take forty-two (42) 30-day months to complete the transition period. You will recall, the devil worked through the serpent to get the victory when Eve was deceived and ate the forbidden fruit. She also shared it with and encouraged Adam to do so. He did. At that time, they lost the right to exercise their power and authority over all God's creation. For about 6,000 years, the devil has been in control of the kingdoms of the world as delegated by God. Our great and powerful God has used the fallen angel, lucifer, the devil, to test the will of all of mankind. This is one of the few reasons why the devil has been allowed to exist for so long a time--to go to and fro up and down the earth. Also, he and his angels were and still are allowed in Heaven to accuse the brethren day and night. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10. It won't be long, however, until he, the devil, will be bound and cast into the bottomless pit for 1,000 years. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Revelation 20:1-3. |

The kingdoms of this world have been his pay day for all of this time, but his day of punishment is fast approaching!And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20:4-10.At this time, the one and only Christ, our Lord Jesus, will reign over the whole earth. This is called the millenium reign, when righteousness shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Can you imagine what it will be like for people in their physical bodies here on earth for 1,000 years without a devil to tempt them? Well, there will be many of them here on this earth to experience what it will be like: heaven on earth compared to what it is now. (see again, Revelation 20:7-10 above) &nsbsp;After the 1,000 years, the devil will be loosed a little season and around the world he shall go, beginning at God and Magog, one more time to gather his forces together. The Bible says the number shall be as the sands of the sea. They will come together, as a mighty army, to challenge once again the Kingdom of Christ. Of course, we've read the "end of The Book"; we know he will fail and will meet his doom. What is his doom? I am so glad you asked! He gets fired! Literally! He and all his angels and all their followers are cast into everlasting fire that was prepared by God for the devil and his angels. Won't that be a grand day, when forever and ever more, there will be no devil. No more tempter--no need of a tempter for the new Heaven and the new Earth and all its inhabitants, for it will be impossible for man to fall any more! Won't that be a happy day! Amen! |
