Before I got a

I went to a couple of my buddies house for the weekned and they had just bought 2 Blasters, one a '96 and one a '98, they didn't have many mods, but I had to ride one of them. So I did. At first I rode the slower '96 and I was doin good, but then they told me the '98 was faster. So they hesitantly let me on it. Well about the 3rd lap on their homemade track, I rounded a corner too fast and locked up the brakes, but there were no brakes to lock up and I slammed into a nice big Oak tree, and flattened out the front bumper. When I picked myself up off the ground and realized I was ok and what I had done, I knew then I had to get one.... So the followin' week I innocetly asked my dad if he thought I could get a 4-wheeler... Well at first he said "Yeah, if you get a workin' one like mine". But that wasn't the kind I wanted, so a couple of weeks and a hell-of-a lot of beggin' later he said ok. So we started to look in the "Wheels and Deals" an callin' Mid-South Motoplex, (the local dealer), every couple of days to see if they had any used ATV's in. Well it was no-go for a week or two. But finally one day we got a "Wheels and Deals" and as I was flippin' through it and there it was!! My 4-wheeler! I just had to have this one! So that day my dad called and taked to the guy about it. He said he sounded like a nice guy and that we would go look at it the next day. So when tomorrow finally rolled around we got up and drove 2 hours to look at it. As soon as I saw it I told my dad I wanted it. So he rode it a lap around the house because I had and injured left hand and couldn't work the clutch. So my dad said it sounded good and it looked like it was in good condtion. So we paid the guy and loaded her up and drove back home. It was the best day of my life. I still couldn't ride it for about a week after we got it cuz of my hand. I could only stand and watch as my dad rode side-ways wheelies on it. So the anticipation was tremendous. I knew nothin' about a 4-wheeler of course. So workin' on it would be basically impossible. But I got on the net, did some surfin', talked to some friends who had ATV's and soon I was changin' filters and tightenin' chains.
