CHUNKY KETCHUP
8 cups choped seded peeled tomatoes
2 medium onions chopped
2 medium green peppers chopped
2 cups sugar
2 cans of 6 oz. tomato paste
2 tbs salt
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
In a large saucepan, combine the tomatoes, onions, green peppers, sugar, tomato paste and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer uncoveren for 1 1/2 hours, or until thickened.
Stir in vinegar. ...and heat through. Ladle hot mixture into hot jars, leaving 1/4 in. headspace. Adjust caps. Process for 20 minutes in a boiling-water bath.
Yield: 3 1/2 pints.
