"HENRY E. HART, RETIRED AKIN FARMER, 88, DIES" He is survived by two sons, Clarence E. Hart of Decatur and George A. of Kalamazoo, Mich., 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home in Benton with Rev. H. E. Hayden officiating. Burial will be in the Knob Prairie Cemetery east of Benton.

Henry E. Hart, 88 of Akin retired farmer & Carpenter died at 5 P.M. Friday. Hart was born in White County and had resided 47 years in Franklin County. His parents were Martin and Martha Emmerson Hart. His wife, the former Lillie Hedges, died in 1960. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home.

William Martin Hart, 30 died at his home in Akin, Friday, following a several days illness, suffering from pneumonia.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Hutchcraft Hart and two children. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hart, and two brothers, Clarence and George Hart, all of Akin.
Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Akin baptist church, Rev. Guy Taekett officiating. Interment will be made at the Knob; Prairie cemetery with the funeral home directing.

Clarence E. Hart, 68, of 1323 E. Division St. died 2:20 pm: Saturday (Oct. l3. 1979) in St. Mary’s Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Calvary Baptist Church with visitation 5 to 9 p.m. Monday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park.
Mr. Hart was born in CabondaIe, son of Henry and Lillie Hart. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, the Carpenter’s Union 742 and was a carpenter. He married Audrey L. Whetstone in 1933.
Surviving are his wife, sons: James E. of Eureka, Calif.; Ralph E. of Princeton; C. Ernest of. Wadsworth, Ohio; Gary A. of Decatur, Bobby D. of Warrensbusg; daughters, Mrs. Jerry (June) Eng1ish of Charlottesville. Va., Mrs. Robert (Mary) Underwood and Joan Jones, both of Decatur; Mrs. Jack Carol) Hinton of Louisville, Ky.; Mrs. Dan ( Linda) CoIe of Normal: brother, George A. Hart of Kalamazoo, Mich.: 26 grandchildren: two great-grandchildren One daughtet and one brother preceded him in death.
Audrey Lucille Hart, 89, of Decatur died Sunday (Dec. 22, 2002) in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial wll be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown.

Mrs. Hart was born Jan. 12, 1913, in Akin, the daughter of Oscar and Monnie Summers Whetstone. She was a member of Calvary Southern Baptist Church. She married Clarence Ezra Hart on Aug. 18, 1933, in Akin. He preceded her in death Oct. 13, 1979.
Surviving are her sons, James (Marty) Hart of California; Ralph (Carolyn) Hart of Princeton; Ernest (June) Hart of Florida; Gary (Norma) Hart of Decatur; Bobby (Christine) Hart of California; daughters, June (Jerry) English and Mary (Bob) Underwood, both of Decatur; Linda (Daniel) Cole of Normal; Carol Hinton of Florida; brothers, Ronald (Hazel) Whetstone of Peoria; Kenneth (Wilma) Whetstone of Peoria; sisters, Wilma (Kenneth) Shafer of Minnesota; Imogene (Bob) Secretan of Peoria; Helen Bertram of California; 26 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Norma Hart and Joan Jones; brothers, Virgil Whetstone and James Whetstone; and sisters, Mildred Knight, Sybil Brandhorst and Ruth Payne.
Joan Jones, 64, of Decatur died 8:13 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 27, 2002) in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Calvary Baptist Church. There will be no visitation. Private family burial will be at a later date in Macon County Memorial Park. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: American Cancer Society.
Joan was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Akin, the daughter of Clarence and Audrey Whetstone Hart. She was an A.W. Cash Co. secretary for 25 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling and golf.
Surviving are her sons, Steve Jones and Rodney Jones and wife Linda, all of Decatur; daughter, Carol Eyestone and husband Brian of St. Louis; brothers, James Hart and wife Marty of California; Ralph Hart and wife Carolyn of Princeton; Ernie Hart and wife June of Fla.; Gary Hart and wife Norma of Decatur; Bobby Hart and wife Chris of California; sisters, June English and husband Jerry and Mary Underwood and husband Bob, all of Decatur; Kay Hinton of Florida; Linda Cole and husband Danny of Normal; mother, Audrey Hart of Decatur; seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Norma Jean.
