Lathora "Sally" Elder, 74, of Raleigh, died 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Fountain View Nursing Home of Eldorado.
She was born Oct. 28, 1926, in Harrisburg to the late James W. and (Charity) Mauree (Hart) Williams. She married Webber Elder Nov. 25, 1971. He preceded her in death.
A graveside service was 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at Raleigh Masonic Cemetery.
She worked for Credit Thrift for 20 years.
She is survived by a nephew, a niece, three great-nephews, a great-niece, and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Thayrel Williams.
