Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Monette Brown, 90, of Shelbyville, who died Tuesday at Bedford County Geneal Hospital after an extended illness, will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Randell Jernigan will officate and burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorail Gardens.

A native of Bedford County, she was the wife of the late Glen Thomas Brown, who died in 1996, and the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson "Jack" Monette and Martha "Matt" HART Monette. She was a retired teacher with 43 years of experience in the Bedford County school system. She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State university, a member of Bedford County Retired Teachers Association and of Fairlane Church of Christ.

Survivors include four nephews, William C. HART of Fresno, Calif.; Jack Monette of California; Robert McGehee of Virginia and Harry Monette of Arkansas. Visitation with the family will begin 1 p.m. Friday.

Funeral services for Glen Thomas Brown of Shelbyville were held 2 p.m. today at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Randell Jernigan officiating. Burial was to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Mr. Brown, 91, died Friday at Bedford County Genral Hospital . A native of Franklin County, he was a retired farmer and member of Fairlane Church of Christ. He was the son of the late James Robert and Docia Dance Brown. He is survived by his wife, Rose Monette Brown
