Mrs. Hart was born Nov. 14, 1895 in Grundy County, Tenn. daughter of the late James Polk and Mary Elizabeth (Meeks) Givens.

Survivors include two sons, Sam. D. Hart, Columbus and Kenneth D. Hart, Winchester, Tenn., one daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hill, Ringgold, Ga.; several brothers and sisters and eight grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those so desiring may contribute to the American Cancer Society.

Nell was the 3rd wife of James Derrel Hart. She died 18 May 1975 in Columbus GA, Burial at Mt. Garner Cemetery, Decherd TN.
