Our History...Taking A Look Back!

The history of the Lady Diamonds at UTM dates back to the early 70's.

ZETA KAPPA Kittens from the 70's

ZETA KAPPA Kittens and Men of ZK MOB

The name has changed several times. First being known as Kappa Kittens in the 70's and being known as Kappa Sweethearts in the 80's. In the early 90's it was decided to give the ladies representing the Zeta Kappa Chapter a name like no other. They became known as "Diamond Dolls" or "MOB Dolls" over time these ladies names have been forgotten but their legacy lives on.

In 1998, nine young women also known as the "9 Dimensions of the Diamond" decided that the Diamond Doll presence needed to be stronger on UTM's campus, but with little guidance and very little support many of these ladies have since become a distant memory. Four of these ladies were determined to keep the Diamond Doll legacy alive, thus kreating the 8 KARATs of the Diamond in the Spring of 2000.

These 8 young women conducted business as "hostesses for their bruhs " keeping the Diamond Doll legacy goign strong. In the Spring of 2005 the 8 KARATS extended their bond to 10 young ladies with time and careful grooming of these young women 6 of them had the sparkle that was required to become a Diamond, they are known as the "6 Dramatik Kuts of the Diamond"

The Diamond Doll legacy is an everchanging and everlasting bond. Like the saying goes "DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER!!!"
