In the time after hatching, it is important to take special care of your hatchlings. For the first week your Leo won't eat food, it is still living off of its yolk sack, it eats it right after hatching. After the first week you should make sure that your babies are eating right and thriving. Here is a time line that you should use for caring for your Leopard Gecko Hatchlings:

Day of Hatching- Move your hatchling to a deli cup inside of the incubator with damp paper towel as substrate. Handle only to move to the deli cup with plenty of holes for ventilation, Leave the leo in this deli cup one week.

Week after Hatching-You can now move your Hatchling into a regular tank. Make sure they have a humid hide that is always damp. You can feed your Leo's leopard gecko food bought commercially at the pet store or mealworms, no crickets yet! Handle only if necessary.

Four Weeks after Hatching-You Leo should be eating very heartily. Moniter your Leo's food so it doesn't gorge its self. The hatchling should go throught a series of sheds, maybe up to three in these 4 weeks! Your Leo is now stable enough to sell if wanted. Still doesn't need to be handled much!

Just a reminder- Never feed your Leo food too big for its mouth. Just remember it should be smaller than the size of its head. It would be a good idea to feed your hatchling things that it can catch and eat like mini mealworms in a bowl or commercially produced Leopard Gecko Food sold at your pet store. Crickets are too fast for newly hatched geckos, wait about 2 months to start feeding crickets if possible!
