On September 11, 2001, Ignorance took the reigns of American life, and changed our reality greatly. This is in honor of the lives lost in New York, Washington D.C., and the small town in Pennsylvania. May we always have hope, may we always have faith, and may God Bless America.

In my young mind it feels just like yesterday
That I watched those buildings fall...
dissipate from the beautiful skyline.
Seems Just Yesterday that my hand
flew to my mouth in horror thinking...
those people, those children, those lives.

Why all those innocent lives?

I remember the feeling in my stomach
As I watched those people run...
God Help them!
I remember the tears in my eyes
as the reporter on TV reported the death toll.

thinking just another ordinary day.
I remember walking into my second period class
and never having class....
We all gathered at 9:15 to watch the second tower fall.
I'll never forget the day I stopped feeling safe
I'll never forget the fateful day that stopped
America right in her tracks.
As long as I live I will see the debris fall
And continue to ask why...
God why did they do this?
God how could they excuse this?
God tell me why the world is like it is?
Tell me please and maybe I can forget the pain and destruction.
