Just making sure I have all the parts I need before I get started. I don't want to have
to run to the store with my truck half torn apart. RRO seemed to have almost everything
together in their body lift kit. But, after e-mailing RRO and close inspection of my truck
there were I few pieces extra that I thought I needed to scrounge up.
The first piece was the little bent bar in the left part of the picture. That little
piece is a bolt on extension for the tranny shifter. RRO said that they would modify the
shifter for free if I sent it to them, but I figured that it would be too much trouble
and it would be a lot easier to just go out and buy this little piece of metal.(which cost
about $5)
The other two piece were the two pieces of steel tubeing I cut into a 2x2x2 block. Pictured right above
the shifter extension. I guess my Escudo is either different from a Sidekick or Vitra, or
people just run the lift without the rear body support mount. The kit only provided 10
bodymounts, but I found two more support mounts in the rear which the instruction did not
mention. (pictured below) I was lucky enough to find the perfect size tubeing lying around
the my friends shop(4x4 Gravel) that he let me have.
