4.1 Quantite-Fusion reactor assembly

The QFRA is the heart of the warp propulsion system. It is variously called the warp core, Quantite core, warp engine core, or main engine core. Energy produced within is shared between its primary application, propulsion, and the raw power requirements of the other major systems. The QFRA is the principle energy producing system, due to its magnitudes higher greater energy output when compared to standard fusion.

The QFRA consists of 7 subsystems: fusion gravimak, magnetic PTC segments, quantite injector, quantite reaction chamber, computer control, targanide plasma accelerators and power transfer conduits.
