Stephani Danelle Perry writes multimedia novelizations in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror realms for love and money, including several Aliens novels, the novelizations of Timecop and Virus, and a series of novels based on the Resident Evil videogames. Under the name Stella Howard, she has written an original novel based upon the television series Xena, Warrior Princess.
'Sins of the Mother' in the Star Trek: Lives of Dax anthology was her first contribution to the Star Trek universe. Ms. Perry also co-wrote 'Allegro Ouroboros in D Minor' with Robert Simpson. Ms. Perry has since written Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Avatar, Books One & Two, the first books of the Deep Space Nine Relaunch and Star Trek Section 31 - Cloak, the third of four books in the Section 31 series.
Ms. Perry's next contributions to the Star Trek universe were Rising Son and Unity. Rising Son is "the Jake story", picking up what happened to the character of Jake Sisko after the events of Avatar. Unity was the first Star Trek: Deep Space Nine hardcover since K.W. Jeter's Warped. The mass market reprint of The Lives of Dax anthology was released with the DS9 Relaunch logo in January 2003. Unity became available in November 2003.
She lives in Oregon with her husband and a multitude of dogs.
