The writing team of Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens' contributions to the Deep Space Nine Relaunch were 'Second star to the right...' and '...straight on 'til morning.' in the Star Trek: Lives of Dax anthology, which became available in a mass market paperback in January 2003. Their previous addition to Deep Space Nine was the non-fiction work The Making of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine in 1994. They also wrote the Deep Space Nine - Millennium trilogy.
The two writers have also contributed other works to the Star Trek universe. They wrote both Memory Prime and Prime Directive, based on the original series of Star Trek. They also wrote Star Trek: Federation, a crossover story that is regarded by fans as one of the best Star Trek novels written and features both the original crew of the USS Enterprise and the crew of the USS Enterprise-D. They are also co-authors with William Shatner for the eight book series of Captain James T. Kirk's continued adventures - Ashes of Eden, The Return, Avenger, Spectre, Dark Victory, Preserver, Captain's Peril, and Captain's Blood.
Their other writing credits include episodes of MTV's Catwalk, and the animated series The Legend of Prince Valiant and Batman. The two writers have also written the non-fiction children's science and technology textbook series Science Around Me. Their fiction works include the first novel in the Alien Nation The Day of Descent, the Los Angeles Times bestseller Icefire and Quicksilver. The two writers have also created their own action-adventure series, The Chronicles of Galen Sword.
The two live in Los Angeles, California.
